CPL – NRA Certified Concealed Carry License Class

Students should expect to shoot approximately 100 rounds of ammunition. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection In The Home handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, the Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, and course completion certificate.
NRA Basic Personal Protection In The Home course is for law-abiding adult citizens, as defined by applicable federal, state, and local law, and experienced shooters (shooters able to show mastery of the basic skills of safe gun handling, shooting a group, zeroing the firearm, and cleaning the firearm) to maximize what can be learned from this course.
PREREQUISITE: This is NOT a beginner class! We require students to have safe and functional knowledge of their firearm. If you have never fired a handgun before we require you to take at a minimum our NSSF 1st Shots class prior to enrolling in NRA CPL.
Equipment: Please bring wrap around eye protection, hearing protection, functioning handgun of your choice, 1 magazine, and range appropriate attire (high collared shirts, closed toe shoes are required and a brimmed ball cap is suggested.)
Ammo Requirement: 200 Rounds of of ball FMJ practice ammunition appropriate for your firearm.
REGISTRATION POLICIES & TERMS
Transfer: Class registration can be transferred to another date/event given 72 hours notice of event start date.
Cancellation: 25% of class/event fee non-refundable deposit.
Refunds: Refunds for balance of event fee, if no transfer is possible, are issued in the form of store gift cards only.
No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 72 hour notice forfeit their total registration fees.
