RENTAL POLICIES

  • All firearm rentals require purchase and use of Ann Arbor Arms approved ammunition.
  • Firearm rentals for non-members will require a party of 2 people.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to rent a rifle and 21 years of age to rent a handgun.
  • One member of the party must have firearms experience in order to rent a firearm. Experience will be determined by an Ann Arbor Arms instructor. If they deem that more experience is required a New Shooter Package is available for purchase to have an instructor present during your time on the range.

RANGE RULES

  • Treat all firearms as if they are loaded
  • Never put your finger on the trigger unless you are on a designated target
  • Never point a firearm at anything other than a valid target down range
  • If anyone calls a “cease fire” immediately stop shooting, set your firearm down, and step back from the stall
  • All firearms must be pointed down range while inside the shooting stall
  • Appropriate attire is required, no open toed shoes
  • Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times while in the range, including both vestibule areas
  • Only remove your firearms from their cases or holster once you are in your designated stall
  • Always know your target and what is beyond it (Be aware of the ceiling, floor, and walls when shooting and where your shot on target will travel through)
  • Firearms must stay in assigned shooting lanes at all times
  • A maximum of two shooters per a lane (Only one person may shoot at a time)
  • No steel core, incendiary, armor piercing, bi-metal jacket or illegal ammunition allowed on the range
  • Only slug rounds will be allowed when firing shotguns
  • Largest caliber allowed is a 30-06 exceptions may be made depending the ammunition being used
  • Anyone who intentionally shoots the baffles, ceilings, walls, or anything other than their designated target will be charged for the damage, escorted from the range and not allowed back. If a member does this, their membership may be revoked along with charges for the damage
  • All range safety officers commands are final and non-negotiable. Anyone who refuses to follow range safety officer directions will be immediately escorted from the building
  • Anyone believed to be under the influence and/or smelling of any intoxicating substance will not be allowed in the range and may be escorted from the building
  • Shooters may only shoot at targets in their assigned lanes
  • Shooters will not be allowed to pick up brass forward of the firing line
  • No rapid fire or double taps, unless the shooter is a member and has passed the qualifications (Anything faster than a 1 1000 count is deemed as rapid fire)
  • No drawing from the holster, unless the shooter is a member and has passed the qualifications
  • All shooters must secure their personal firearms unloaded in their range bags, or, if loaded,
    secured in their holster while on either the sales floor or range
  • When returning firearms, shooters must have a range safety officer check the firearm before l
    eaving the range
  • Shooters may only load their firearms while standing in their firing stall, facing down range
    (Magazines can be loaded behind the firing line)
  • No private instruction allowed in the range without authorized consent from Ann Arbor Arms management
  • We highly recommend that if you are nursing, pregnant, or have any medical conditions that could be affected by using the range. Please consult your physician first
  • The minimum age to be in the range is 10 years old. A legal parent/guardian must be present with minor (10-17 years old) at all times in the range

REMINDERS

  • Please wait until you are in your designated lane before you remove your firearm from the case or holster
  • Be aware of your muzzle direction when removing firearms from the case
  • No steel-core, bi-metal jackets, armor piercing ammo, or illegal ammunition on the range at any time. (When using shotguns only slugs may be used)
  • No rapid fire, unless you are a member that has been qualified (Anything faster than a 1-1000 count is as deemed rapid fire)
  • If anyone calls a cease fire immediately stop firing set your firearm down and step back from the stall
  • Please be aware of where your bullets impact beyond your target. If you are on an END lane, make sure you are squared up with your target to avoid hitting the wall;
  • Absolutely NO outside instruction. A3 has many qualified instructors who are more than willing to help you improve your skills, and many class types to fit every skill level;
  • There is a $10 fee for each ceiling, floor and wall strikes. Other damage fees may apply.
  • Please sweep brass forward of the line after you are done shooting
  • Be sure to pickup your I.D. before leaving, wash you hands to keep lead off you and others;
  • Ranges close 45 MINUTES prior to store closing. Shooters may only receive up to 1 half hour of range time if check-in is close to Range Closing.
